Unicorn wars but the unicorns swap places with the bears!! not sure if anyone has thought of this idea, but i just thought what if the bears were just as vicious as they were in the movie, but instead they weren't the ones to evolve, but the unicorns did instead.

I think Arcane is trying something so interesting by making the audience sympathize with both the terrorist and the military police
neither jinx nor caitlyn are dehumanized, we see them as people in pain who aren't getting the room to breathe as those around them seek to use them for their own purposes
all this painful empathizing makes you wish they would just stop fighting and try to figure out a way for coexistence, doesn't it
to borrow the Twelfth Doctor's words, people will die and keep dying in a cycle of violence until finally they will have to do what they should have done from the very beginning: sit down and talk.
no vengeance for jinx. no vengeance for caitlyn. give up avengering and write a contract of ceasefire.

I feel like we as a fandom had a lot of this conversation during Campaign 2 but redemption, however you may interpret it, is a process. It is not a binary of redeemed and not redeemed. And in the world of a D&D actual play, a lot of the hard decisions really come down to "is the harm this person did actively ongoing, or is it a past action with ongoing ramifications" and "will they stop doing this continued harm quickly enough for it to matter." It sounds cold to say that it's a risk-benefit analysis, but on some level, it has to be be. I think Bor'Dor was likely redeemable in some abstract sense, but could Team Issylra do it with the time and resources they had without risking their own lives? Probably not. I think the same is true with Liliana: if they had months in which to do this - and they have been contacting her on and off for a couple months, and every effort failed - maybe, but the clock's run out.

every single character in the dragon prince loves with their entire heart. they love so much it bring them to their knees. so much that they're willing to die for love. so much they're willing to live for love. love between partners, love between friends, love between siblings, the love of parent and child, the love between worshipper and their god, the love we as people have for the world around us. the entire world is really held together by love.

Every time The Batch®️ does something IT, all I can think about is Tech, watching them from clone heaven and facepalming because he probably knows about at least 3 easier ways on how to do it lmao

absolutely loved the credit scene of the attack on titan finale. such a profound perspective shift to show yes, you can spend your entire life in pursuit of a singular goal, you can destroy yourself and others for it, shed blood and tears for it, kill and die for it, and time marches forward. Your story, which was everything at the time, is sanded down by the winds of time. and history moves on. you become a blip on the timeline. and what was all that bloodshed for?

Am I blatantly being zutarabaited by the new Netflix's Avatar The Last Airbender? Yes
Will I enjoy any crumb I'm being fed as if it were the most exquisite banquet? OF FUCKING COURSE, YES

I think the Knight of Dawn being "a coward who is unable to stand up for what is right and does as he's ordered to" and "someone who cares deeply about his family and did everything he could so that Silver could live a happy and normal life in the future" are two statements that can coexist.

Future Tomura visiting UA one day (he has a pass with him dw, Izuku invited him for a lesson) and just hanging out in the staff room while Izuku is getting some work together before break ends. He's sat there curled up, shoes on the chair, playing on his nintendo ds
One of the kids from Izuku's class comes in like "Hi sensei I was just wondering wha- IS THAT SHIGARAKI TOMURA, THE NUMBER ONE VILLAIN FROM 8 YEARS AGO???"
Tomura just throws up a peace sign and goes "Hey" while Izuku's like "Well, he's not a villain anymore, but yeah that's him. What were you gonna ask me?"
